I have more than 20 years of experience successfully working with individuals, families and couples. I am most interested in helping people live authentic lives so they can flourish. I see clients with a variety of issues including transitions such as divorce, loss of partner or child, retirement, job loss etc. I work deeply with individuals on their emotional issues such as grief, depression, anxiety and self esteem and worth. I work with couples on relationship issues such as trust, intimacy and boundaries. My work is supportive and holistic. I have trust and reverence for the client’s process and belief that we all hold our own answers within. It is my job to help facilitate that awareness.

I work with adults, couples, families, and children. I emphasize working in mindfulness, to more quickly see things as they are, and to help change limiting emotional and mental habits. I have training and experience working with issues of grief and loss, and with trauma. I especially love awakening joy, your creativity and aliveness. We work collaboratively, as I trust in, and help you access your innate wisdom- your beautiful vital heart!

I work with people who suffer with depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship problems, trauma/PTSD, emotion dysregulation, chronic pain, and stress. I offer skills to develop mental clarity and emotional equanimity; for a calm mind and a peaceful heart, even in the midst of inner or outer turmoil. I work with adults, couples, professionals in high-stress careers or in life transition, and adolescents (particularly depressed, anxious, or stressed teens.)
I present at conferences on the clinical applications of mindfulness for treating depression, anxiety, and addiction. I teach the following groups locally and online: Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention for addiction (MBRP), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy for depression (MBCT), and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I have been a yogic and Buddhist meditation practitioner for more than 30 years and have a specialty in Buddhist Psychology.
