I specialize in Mindfulness-based psychotherapy: evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, chronic pain, and stress. I work with adults, couples, depressed or anxious teens, and professionals in high-stress careers. Mindfulness and compassion allow us to live life with wisdom and joy. When we feel more present, especially in tough moments, mindfulness allows us to wisely choose to respond skillfully even in difficult circumstances. Mindfulness-based psychotherapy combines cognitive behavioral therapy with psychodynamic therapy, and emphasizes use of mindfulness and compassion practices in daily life. Please visit my web site for more information.I also offer the following groups: Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention for Addiction (MBRP) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression Relapse (MBCT). I present at conferences on mindfulness and train clinical professionals in the clinical applications of mindfulness. |

I have more than 20 years of experience successfully working with individuals, families and couples. I am most interested in helping people live authentic lives so they can flourish. I see clients with a variety of issues including transitions such as divorce, loss of partner or child, retirement, job loss etc. I work deeply with individuals on their emotional issues such as grief, depression, anxiety and self esteem and worth. I work with couples on relationship issues such as trust, intimacy and boundaries. My work is supportive and holistic. I have trust and reverence for the client’s process and belief that we all hold our own answers within. It is my job to help facilitate that awareness.
